The EGX PRO series can be used for both traditional, two-dimensional and three-dimensional Engraving jobs, as well as in other indoor or outdoor communication fields.
Plaques, engravings, awards, cups, trophies, identifiers, plaques, medals, three-dimensional writing, graphics for indication or signaling, control panels, serial numbers and more.

Mandrels and engines
The EGX PRO series is equipped as standard with a spindle with variable speed from 8,000 to 30,000 rpm and driven by a 70 Watt DC brushless motor.
The spindle is structured to provide maximum power during machining and to reduce the vibrations that could possibly trigger.
The rotation is ensured by micro-bearings with thermal expansion control that ensure constant rpm. Special protection flanges prevent machining dust from entering the spindle.

Axis movement
The axis movement system on the EGX PRO series is made with steel cables and microprecision ball recirculation screws that allow the axes to slide perfectly.
The EGX PRO series, equipped with a mobile bridge system and an extremely robust structure, is equipped with motion handling systems managed by Roland Feed Forward Processing (FFP) technology - an advanced controller for the early management of the tool path.
FFP optimizes working times but above all allows the machine to fully exploit its mechanical potential. The FFP technology is combined with traction systems controlled by AC servo-assisted brushless motors (DAC). These engines and their sophisticated control system allow maximum ergonomics of mechanical movement, reliability, precision and speed.
The speed on the X and Y axes of 0.5-100 mm / sec. On the Z axis it is 0.5-50 mm / sec. The mechanical resolution is 0.003 mm / step on the X and Y axes. On the Z axis it is 0.0025 mm / step.

Control inputs and additional slots
The EGX-400 and EGX-600 models are equipped with an 8-bit input / output controller that allows the connection of multiple EGX PROs to be used, during engraving, as in a normal production line.
On the front there is a slot for inserting a memory card. In this way, EGX PRO can also be used without the aid of a computer thanks to this particular feature. Machining of different Mbytes can be stored on the cards.
EGX PRO via a PC, can be used as a 3-axis robot for small assembly, handling, engraving, marking or metering jobs.
EGX PRO has a 2 MB buffer memory for storing the submitted job. The stored data can then be processed again directly by the machine by unpacking the computer from processing it again.

Working area
The work area of the EGX-600 is 610 mm (X) x 407 mm and 407 mm (X) x 305 mm for the EGX-400. Both models have a stroke on the Z axis of 42.5 mm.
The EGX PRO work plane easily supports the necessary accessories for each individual process.
The top can be leveled and the upper table removed according to the type of use (clamping of clamps, materials with a large surface, special tools, probe plugs, etc.).

Software supplied
Roland Engravers are equipped with a software suite that allows the operator to immediately start working without any additional software.

Separate control panel
The separate control panel allows the user to operate and pause the machine even remotely.
The panel also allows quick access to the main functions and displays commands and coordinates on the included display.
The differentiated speed adjustment on the 3 axes is possible.
